Since 1919, the International Institute of Minnesota has empowered New Americans achieve self-sufficiency and full membership in American life. Though the faces of our clients have changed over time, our commitment to their success has not wavered. This year, across our programs, we reached New Americans from almost 50% of the countries in the world. We believe this diversity strengthens Minnesota's communities.

Our Programs Reached 4319 New Americans
Every day, over 100 people come to the Institute to take classes. More come in search of immigration assistance, or to meet with their case managers. Many people think of us as a refugee resettlement agency, and that is an integral part of our work. But in order to truly ensure new arrivals a strong start to a new life, we go far beyond basic resettlement needs, and have built a reputation as a workforce development leader, and trusted place for affordable immigration assistance.
